Romelu Lukaku évoque ses débuts avec Anderlecht : "Il y a dix ans, mon rêve devenait réalité et je commençais ma carrière avec le club de mon cœur"

Le 24 mai 2009, Romelu Lukaku, alors seulement âgé de 16 ans, faisait ses grands débuts avec l’équipe première d’Anderlecht lors du test-match retour contre le Standard.

Le joueur de Manchester United a évoqué ce moment inoubliable sur Instagram. "Il y a dix ans, mon rêve devenait réalité et je commençais ma carrière avec le club de mon cœur. Voir des garçons comme Vincent Kompany et Anthony Vanden Borre réussir m’ont donné envie d’être le suivant. C’était un très bon moment je suis reconnaissant envers tous les joueurs qui m’ont aidé, particulièrement Mbark Boussoufa, Jelle Van Damme, Marcin Wasilewski et Olivier Deschacht. Je remercie Ariel Jacobs de m’avoir permis de réaliser mon rêve, ainsi que tous ceux du centre de formation. Un grand merci aussi à Jean Kindermans et Dirk Gyselinckx, qui ont cru en un gamin de 12 ans que beaucoup ne voyaient pas réussir", a conclu le meilleur buteur de l'histoire des Diables Rouges.

16years and 11days old 👶🏿.On this day 10 years ago! My dream came out and I made my debut for the club of my heart @rscanderlecht. Seeing boys like @vincentkompany and @anthonyvandenborre.official doing it inspired me to be next in line.. I had great time and I’m grateful to all the players for helping me and guiding me! Special mention to these boys @mbarkboussoufa14 @jelle_van_damme @wasyl27 @olideschacht A big thank you to my coach ariel jacobs for giving me that chance of making my dream come true 🙏🏿 and all the people of the Academy from the coaches to the player care ( @lma39 )And head of youth Mr. Kindermans with Dirk gyselinckx for believing in a 12year old kid who was doubted by many to make it there but you guys had made a plan and we did it together thank you 🙏🏿 😊 10years as a pro at age of 26 its crazy when i write this but enjoy it every bit on to the next 10
