Le Borussia Dortmund pensait probablement être à l'abri ce samedi lors de la réception du Werder Brême. Ainsi les Schwarzgelben menaient-ils 2-0 jusqu'à la 89e minute, grâce à des buts inscrits par Julian Brandt en fin de première période, puis par Raphaël Guerreiro à l'entame du dernier quart d'heure. Thomas Meunier est resté sur le banc tandis que Thorgan Hazard est entré au jeu à la 62e.

Et ceux qui ont quitté le stade ou zappé un peu tôt peuvent s'en mordre les doigts : le Werder Brême offrira d'ores et déjà l'un des retournements de situation de la saison en inscrivant...trois buts en quelques minutes, l'emportant finalement 2-3 à Dortmund. Buchanan (89e), Schmidt (90e+3) et Burke (90e+5) renversent ainsi totalement le cours du match et infligent au Borussia sa première défaite de la saison !
