Après avoir connu un été cauchemardesque avec un placement sous administration, des points de pénalité, une relégation en League One, un crowdfunding pour sauver le club, Wigan voit enfin le bout du tunnel après leur rachat par la société britannique Phoenik 2021 Limited. Une opération qui devrait être effective au plus tard le 31 mars prochain.
