Le FC Barcelone vient d'aligner 16 victoires consécutives en Liga espagnole. Un record dans l'histoire du club. Mais d'autres clubs européens ont déjà fait beaucoup mieux. Ceci dit, ce n'était pas en Liga.
En Belgique, on a eu l'Union 60 qui reste inégalée en Europe avec ses 60 matches consécutifs sans défaites. Mais au palmarès des victoires consécutives, c'est encore toujours le Benfica d'Eusebio qui mène le bal avec 29 victoires d'affilée.
